My Story

When I was 5 years old, I went to the hospital for a simple procedure. Unfortunately, that day “The Butcher”- a doctor whose nickname did not inspire confidence- was on call.

The simple procedure turned into a nightmare and after unnecessary complications, I was declared dead.

Don’t worry, I am not writing this from beyond the grave.

However, something special happened. While the medical staff was running around trying to get me back to life, and my father, screaming in agony, banging his head against the wall hoping the sheer force might wake him from that horrible dream, I was gently floating out of my body. There, while that little 5-year-old body laid lifeless, I noticed a woman standing by the door. She gazed at me with love in her eyes and said: “Don’t worry. Things will get better.”

That woman - was me. An adult version of me.

This experience became central in the construction of my personal narrative. If I came back, it was for a reason, right? I had a purpose.

Nevermind logic, or the intricacies of a time-travelling self. What differs humans from animals is our capacity to create narratives. To tell stories. To search for meaning.

This Story helped me later in life when I was going through depression and the emotional pain of it had me contemplating taking my own life.

“Things will get better” the memory of that experience whispered.

You have a purpose. You are meant to live life to the fullest. Experience the riches it has to offer. Travel. Love. Explore. Enjoy. Express yourself. Form healthy relationships. Dream. Create. Be all that you want to be.

So I did.

And I am here to help you do too.

Healing journey

Why am I so confident my offerings work? Short answer: I have personally done the work.

I have been through it. I have experienced pain, loss and trauma. Healing my Story has Changed my Life.

It all starts with a decision. You have to commit to your healing. When your healing becomes a priority - change is inevitable.

For years I worked in Media and the Creative Industries curating, researching, reporting, translating, editing - guess what? Stories.

After starting my own healing journey I trained as a psychotherapist, working in private practice and in the public health sector for over10 years.

Stories and their healing potential have been part of my life´s work and focus. Here, during a performance in London.
